  • Daily Scripture Walk #5 — Casting Your Burdens on the Lord

    Scripture:
    Psalm 55:22 (KJV)
Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.

    Walk Thought:
Burdens were never meant to be carried alone.

Yet so often, we hold on to them—worry, fear, stress—trying to manage what God has already invited us to release.

This verse gives both an instruction and a promise: Cast your burden on the Lord… and He will sustain you.

God does not just take the burden—He strengthens the one who brings it.

    Reflection Question:
What burden do you need to release into God’s hands today?

    Closing Prayer:
Lord, I bring my burdens to You. Help me to let go of the weight I’ve been carrying and trust You to sustain me. Give me peace and strength as I place my concerns in Your hands. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

  • Daily Scripture Walk #4 — God Is in Control Even When You Don’t Understand

    Scripture:
    Isaiah 55:8–9 (KJV)
For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.

For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

    Walk Thought:
There will be moments when life simply does not make sense.

In those moments, it is easy to question, to doubt, or to feel uncertain. But this passage reminds us that God’s ways are higher than ours—not just slightly, but beyond comparison.

What we see as confusion, God sees with clarity. What feels uncertain to us is already known to Him.

Trust grows when we accept that we do not need to understand everything to believe that God is still in control.

    Reflection Question:
Can you trust God’s plan even when you don’t fully understand it?

    Closing Prayer:
Lord, Your ways are higher than mine. Help me to trust You even when I don’t understand what You are doing. Strengthen my faith and remind me that You are always in control. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
